Life Teen is a movement within the Roman Catholic Church which focuses on leading teenagers and their families into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ and His Church. This website has numerous resources and blogs to help you grow in your faith outside of youth group.


The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops' website offers a wide range of information and current news of the Church. It also offers an online Bible where you can follow the readings of the day or choose to explore on your own.

The Archdiocese of St. Louis' website has current news and events concerning our own archdiocese. These is also information to assist in finding Mass & Reconciliation times throughout the archdiocese, vocation information, etc.

Suicide Prevention Resources

Parents & teens, please explore these resources as a means of obtaining help for you or someone you know and/or continuing the dialogue surrounding suicide. This is by no means an exhaustive list. 

Also remember to reach out to a trusted adult (i.e. parent, teacher, coach, counselor, youth minister, priest, etc)  who can advocate for you in a time of need, whether it be dealing with thoughts of suicide, depression, anxiety, or any other issue.

The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) raises awareness, funds scientific research and provides resources and aid to those affected by suicide.

Fr. Mike from Ascension Presents explains why hope is the best remedy for suicidal thoughts. If you know someone struggling with such thoughts, don’t hesitate to reach out to them with reasons to have hope. If someone you know or love has committed suicide, pray for them and don’t lose hope for their soul.

The Catechism of the Catholic Church explains the teachings of the Catholic Church. Paragraph #2280-2283 explain the Church's teaching on suicide. 

"By ways known to him alone, God can provide the opportunity for salutary repentance. The Church prays for persons who have taken their own lives." (CCC #2283)

Today's Teenager is a podcast put out by Roy Petitfils, an internationally recognized expert in understanding and raising teenagers. He holds a Masters in Mental Health and School Counseling from the University of Louisiana, Lafayette. Roy is an expert in raising and understanding teenagers, and as a Catholic, he has an approach that we all can appreciate.
